As much as I'm craving for a "classic open-world tracks dirt bike experience" like MXGP3 seems to offer, I want to take up on the online hype of this one. Thank you, this really helped me make my decision. I have never played MXGP3 online so I can't comment on that, can only see it doesn't have them at the time I took these. Not a ton of people like other games but generally can always find people racing in MESX. Originally posted by Photolight:I just went and took a screenshot of what the severs look like for you. Since you played both games, what would you recommend? Since I want a more genuine "dirt bike off-road" feeling, I really like MXGP3 more on that aspect, but since they're both from Milestone and I wanna have fun playing online, I'm afraid not only the multiplayer from MXGP3 will be desert while MESX is active (not sure on that), but also that Milestone will slowly abandon patches and updates on MXGP3 to work on their most recent game. Am I right to assume that? (Saw a lot of people complaining about the online mode as well). The selling points of MESX are basically "it's fresh so i think there will be an active, fun online community". For me the selling points of MXGP3 are the customisation, sponsorships and open-world tracks. Thank you, I'm almost buying MESX but I do want open-world tracks. I don't really think they should even be compared since it's not the same style tracks. Originally posted by Photolight:I have both games and really I think they are both awesome in their own ways. MXvsATV Alive: Looks good, not sure about the front flips being able to be pulled mid air though. I don't really care about that but I think it was better in mxgp3. There is actually more variety in the looks of the arenas then I thought there would be though.Īs far as bike customization for looks. Personally I am having more fun with MESX than I had with MXGP3, but I do miss some of the tracks like Maggiora which had some nice elevation changes.Īs far as the visuals go, there is no denying the beauty of national tracks but once you are in the midst of a race you won't be thinking about the outside scenery. Really it just depends what style tracks you want to play. (yes mesx has rain/wet tracks but it's not the same and they both have variations in turns and both require rythm of sorts but just speaking in general) MXGP3: deep ruts, wet muddy tracks, wider turns, hills I have both games and really I think they are both awesome in their own ways. Anyone can confirm or give their thoughts on this? PS: I've read several complaints on the internet about the game feeling "too empty, bland" and people saying it feels like an unfinished game. Overall, is MES REALLY better than MXGP3? Customisation and sponsoring looked sick on MXGP3 and it seems relatively limited on this one. My real last doubt between the games is the fact that the tracks on MXGP3 are open world, and watching some gameplay videos, all tracks on MES look the same (probably because of the arena feature in Supercross) which really takes away part of the "dirt bike" experience for me. Hopefully they won't abandon this game when they release MXGP4. Thank you, I really think I'm gonna buy this one, seems that most of the bugs and online problems people report will get patched up. If you want to play online on PC you should buy this game, because this is the active game now, however, mxgp3 is like the same game but with outdoor tracks, but no one is playing online. Monster Energy Supercross is basically mxgp4, in terms of some updated graphics, animations and some other technical things. They are basically the same, because both games runs on Unreal Engine 4. I played mxgp3 a lot, and I've played this game a lot so far. No one is playing mxgp3 online on PC, maybe 2 ppl if you are lucky. I appreciate both feedbacks immensely but now I'm more confused lol which one has the actual better physics?Īlso a huge deal for me is online multiplayer so which one has the most active online community rn? I don't want to get MXGP3 and have no one to play with.
